Are you in the Los Angeles area and INTERESTED in making $100,000+ per year?
That is how the concept of getting SERIOUS about Computer Science was presented to me.
For years I was self teaching (teaching myself) various areas of computer knowledge. How to build computers, how to code and program, ect. But, when I got stuck on something while self teaching, it was easy to drop that topic and tinker around with other things that went more smoothly.
It was around the time that I said those things to a man, out loud, that my life began to change.
Computer Science Is Sexy
The FIRST part of Computer Science is Sexy is knowing HOW to build computers and repair them.
Take a look at my last build for my own production company (video editing rig).
I built this system on May 13, 2019. A few changes have been made from what I had in the video.
I upgraded the motherboard and the PSU.
This part of Computer Science is Sexy is commonly known as A+. That comes from the ComTIA International certification standards. To be a member of Computer Science Is Sexy, you MUST get certified eventually.
This system includes:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Processor with Wraith Spire LED Cooler -: https://amzn.to/2VqkyCy
MSI X470 Ryzen Gaming PRO Carbon: https://amzn.to/2VoCAow
Patriot Viper Elite Series DDR4 32GB (2x16GB): https://amzn.to/2Ea4EGD
I will get the Graphics Card in the next few days. I need something that is very powerful for video editing and CGI rendering. For now, 4K video is the max quality. I will think about 8K later.
This is the most popular FIRST STEP in the certification process. What is most needed is the CompTIA A+ book to read and study and also have as a reference.
A+ is the entry-level certification for those looking to begin or boost their career in IT. Get the book here.
This is the NEXT STEP in the certification process. What is most needed is the CompTIA Network+ book to read and study and also have as a reference.
In the back of my book, there was a FREE link to register for Total Seminars Training Hub . A very helpful study tool and resource.
The usual 3rd step in the process is Security+.
